Beckett Jake Wilson

Beckett Jake Wilson
Born May 23, 2012 5:11 PM
6 lbs. 11 oz.  21.5 inches

I can't believe my little is already a month old!  Were did the time go?  This last month has been some of the hardest but most rewarding moments in my life.  I love everything about you my boy, yes even when you decide you want to play at 4 in the morning.  I am starting to realize how little sleep I need to survive.   I love all the many faces you make and can't get enough hugs and kisses in in a day!  You really are such a happy, content baby and we are so blessed to have you in our home.  I can't wait to watch you grow and learn and hope that I can be the mom that you need me to be...but don't grow up too fast!  I am finally getting the hang of this mom thing and think we are going to work out just fine together.  I love you Beckett boy!

Fun facts about you thus far...
-when you want your binki and you are in a panic you shake your head back and forth...if you would just relax you would get your binki much faster!
-your pinkie toe hangs down a little bit and it is just barely starting to move
-you have the cutest little cry in the world, we think it sounds like a Pterodactyl or the door creaking open
-when you are finished eating and you don't want anymore you squeeze your lips together, it's cracks me up every time
-nursing is getting easier and actually some of my favorite times, I love watching your little eyes watch me and you look so peaceful
-you love bath time, if the water is the right temp, you just float on your little foam pad and pee, a couple times :)
-when you are trying to work stuff out you make the cutest grunting noises
-when you are getting sleepy you love it when I rub your head or tickle your nose, it almost always puts you right to sleep
-from the moment you were born you had the strongest neck and like to be on your tummy looking all around
-right after you wake up or get our of your car seat you stretch out stiff as a board and look around with a confused look on your face
-when you are fed and changed you are content to hang out in your lounger, most of the time you can't take your eyes off the TV
-I love your little hands and love when you hold my finger or grab on to my shirt
-normally you don't mind getting into your car seat and I think that it makes you happy that we are leaving the house, you love to go on walks and just look at the world around you
-you still sleep a lot but are starting to be a lot more alert throughout the day
-when you are bored you have the littlest whine and it is so funny
-you have discovered your tongue and love to stick it out
-you are a little snuggler and I love it, I could cuddle you all day and kiss you and stare at you and squeeze you....

There are so many people who love you Beckett, you are one lucky kid and we are two lucky parents.  You have filled a hole in our hearts we didn't even know we had :)
